how it works
from the reel you forward to the ad you post
selida is an instagram DM. you send it a reel, it reads the whole thing shot by shot and rebuilds it as yours. reading is free and there is no cap on forwards.
the loop
four things happen, and you watch all four
the floor
every read is free — the shoot is the only thing that costs
forward a reel and about twenty seconds later there is a page. a talking head comes back as the summary in a line, the method as steps each carrying the second it was said at, what the reel mentioned, the shelf it was filed on, the whole transcript timestamped, and a button that copies all of it into whichever AI you already use. an ad gets its board where the method would be, because one row a shot teaches more than a recipe does — and that board is the one thing on the page that does not arrive with it.
the shot-by-shot read of an ad takes longer than the page does, and it is not allowed to hold the page up. the page ships first. when the read finishes, a second message lands: what the ad turned out to be made of — how many shots, how long it runs, how often it cuts — and one link to your version of it. a talking head gets no second message; its page simply gains its board, and the button was already on it.
there is no limit on how many you forward and nothing is metered on the way in. the page is the product; the video is the thing you can buy on top of it.
text library in the thread and everything you have ever forwarded is there, filed. text make mine and back comes the link to your version — or the library, if you have more than one in flight.
every message selida sends is words and then at most one link. there are no buttons in the thread to tap — the link is the button, and the page it opens is where every choice gets made.
the money
you see the whole thing before you spend
the board, the rebuilt script, the words in your voice — all of it is on screen before anything is charged. what a video costs, when you are charged for it and when you are not has a page of its own, with the number said once.
